Applications for December 2026 Graduation close at 11:59pm, Sunday 4 October 2026.
PLEASE NOTE: MIT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO CLOSE THE ‘ATTENDING’ GRADUATION OPTION PRIOR TO 4 OCTOBER 2026 UPON HAVING REACHED THE VENUE SEATING CAPACITY. ONCE THIS OCCURS, STUDENTS WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO SELECT THE ‘IN ABSENTIA’ GRADUATION OPTION.
How to apply to graduate
Before applying you need to make sure:
- You have met all your course requirements
- You have successfully completed your units including your internship (for Engineering students only) and
- You do not have outstanding MIT fees including but not limited to penalty fees and library fees.
Once you have completed the above requirements, please complete your 'Application to Graduate’ including updating your personal contact information at the Graduation Portal, such as mailing address, personal email address and mobile phone, before the deadline so your award can be conferred in early December.
The login process for the graduation registration portal has been updated recently to improve online security of your personal information. Follow the prompts to receive access to the graduation portal.
